Shah Rukh Khan, who was in the city to cheer on his IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, experienced dehydration and heatstroke symptoms following the team’s match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to reports, Khan responded well to treatment and was discharged on Thursday evening. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, confirmed his improvement through social media, adding that he is “doing well.” News outlets also reported that Shah Rukh Khan is expected to depart Ahmedabad for Mumbai on a charter plane.
The Ahmedabad Rural Superintendent of Police, Om Prakash Jat, confirmed Khan’s discharge from the hospital and departure for the airport. The hospital itself has not yet issued an official statement regarding Khan’s health condition.
