Pakistan Underworld Don Ameer Balaj Tipu Shot Dead at Wedding Ceremony

Lahore, Pakistan – In a shocking turn of events, Ameer Balaj Tipu, a prominent figure in Lahore’s underworld, met a tragic end during a wedding ceremony in the Chung area. The incident unfolded on February 18, leaving the city in grief and fury.

The Incident

According to reports from a private TV channel cited by Dawn, an unidentified assailant targeted Ameer Balaj Tipu during the wedding procession. The attacker opened fire, critically injuring Balaj and two other guests. Swiftly, Balaj’s armed associates retaliated, resulting in the immediate death of the assailant. Despite efforts to save him, Balaj succumbed to his injuries at Jinnah Hospital.

A Legacy of Violence

Ameer Balaj Tipu, son of the late Arif Amir, alias Tipu Truckanwala, hailed from a family with a history of violence. His grandfather was also embroiled in long-standing feuds, adding to the family’s record of conflict.
