LTI Mindtree CFO Vinit Teredesai Steps Down; Vipul Chandra Takes the Role

lti mindtree

In a significant development, LTI Mindtree Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vinit Teredesai, has tendered his resignation. The company confirmed this news in an exchange filing on Thursday. Teredesai’s departure adds to the wave of senior-level exits that LTI Mindtree has witnessed since its merger with L&T Infotech in November 2022.

Vipul Chandra: The New CFO

Stepping into the role vacated by Teredesai is Vipul Chandra, who currently serves as the head of treasury at Larsen and Toubro (L&T). Chandra brings with him nearly three decades of experience in financial markets, risk management, banking operations, and treasury management. His appointment as the next CFO reflects the company’s commitment to strong leadership and strategic planning13.

Teredesai’s Journey

Vinit Teredesai joined erstwhile Mindtree in June 2020 as the CFO and continued in that position following the merger with L&T Infotech. His tenure will extend until April 24, 2024, during which he aims to explore professional opportunities outside the L&T Group. Teredesai’s contributions have been pivotal during this transformative period for the organization.

LTI Mindtree’s Leadership Transition

The appointment of Vipul Chandra underscores LTI Mindtree’s focus on leadership planning. As the company looks ahead, it has identified two internal candidates for the top job. The term of current CEO Debashis Chatterjee is set to end next year, and the organization is actively preparing for a seamless transition.

LTI Mindtree continues to be a key player in the IT industry, and with Vipul Chandra at the financial helm, it aims to navigate the ever-evolving landscape with agility and vision.
