Mumbai, February 18, 2024: The recent announcement of Esha Deol’s separation from her husband, Bharat Takhtani, has sparked curiosity about her future endeavors. The Bollywood actor-turned-politician, Hema Malini, shed light on whether Esha might venture into the political arena.

In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Hema Malini, who currently serves as a BJP member of Lok Sabha from Mathura, shared insights into her family’s dynamics. When asked about Esha’s potential interest in politics, Hema revealed, “Esha is very interested in it; she loves doing it. In the next few years, if she is interested, she will join politics.”

Hema Malini emphasized that her husband, veteran actor Dharmendra, had been a strong supporter of her political journey. His encouragement and unwavering backing allowed her to pursue a successful political career. “The family is with me all the time,” Hema stated. “Because of them, I am able to do this. They are taking care of my house in Mumbai, so I am coming to Mathura very easily. I come and go back. Whatever I’m doing, Dharam ji is very happy with that, which is why he supports me.”

Esha Deol, the daughter of Dharmendra and Hema Malini, has been in the spotlight since confirming her separation from entrepreneur Bharat Takhtani. The couple decided to part ways amicably after 11 years of marriage. Their joint statement emphasized their commitment to their two children’s well-being during this transition.

Esha Deol in Recent Movies and TV Shows:

Esha, known for her roles in films like “Dhoom,” “Dus,” and “No Entry,” made her acting comeback last year with the thriller series “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness,” alongside actor Ajay Devgn. She is set to appear in the upcoming series “Invisible Woman,” produced by Yoodlee Films, the film arm of Saregama India.

While Esha’s personal life undergoes changes, her potential entry into politics remains a topic of interest. As Hema Malini hinted, we may witness Esha Deol’s political journey unfold in the coming years.
